Individual therapy sessions provide a safe, neutral and compassionate space to address a wide-range of topics. A typical session is 60 minutes long, and may be comprised of a combination of talk-therapy, skill-building and education. Recommendations might include weekly initial sessions, or referral for more intensive services, depending on the issues and concerns brought up during the assessment process. Please see below for standard fees. I also offer fees on a sliding scale on a case by case basis. Call to find out more!

Assessments typically take between 1-2 hours, depending on your history. Your first session will usually consist of an initial assessment.

I do not currently accept insurance. However, I offer a lower rate and sliding scale payments for those without insurance, and for those who prefer to keep their private health information between you and your mental health care provider. In addition, private payment allows us to avoid the frustration of insurance companies that may dictate your course of treatment despite best practices. Have questions? Call or e-mail me to find out more. I will work with you to make prioritizing your wellness affordable!

Many clients are reimbursed directly from their insurance company (some clients report reimbursement rates between 50%-90%). You will be provided with a monthly Superbill (Statement for Insurance Reimbursement) that contains your service and diagnostic code, as well as all the information the insurance company will need to reimburse you for the maximum amount of each session. If you have any reimbursement questions, I recommend that you contact your insurance company first, as they can best answer your concerns regarding coverage.
