"To be aware of your body is the beginning of self love. When mind goes home to the body, the mind and body are established in the here and now."

Hi! I'm Taylor Andersen, and I'm a licensed clinical social worker and masters certified addiction professional in the state of Florida. I enjoy helping adolescents and adults of all ages and identities understand and manage trauma, stress, depression, anxiety, and overcome substance and behavioral addictions. Whether you are struggling with relationships, seeking help for an addiction, or simply would like some guidance and support, I provide a safe and honest space for you to process your inner and outer world, and work towards your personal goals.
I believe the recognition that we cannot separate the mind from the body, and we cannot separate a person from their environment, is a truth that reveals new pathways for understanding ourselves and deeper healing.
Therapy is not one-size-fits all, and I use a variety of holistic and evidence-based approaches tailored to your individual needs, with an emphasis on mindfulness-based cognitive therapy and somatic healing. I believe that focus on the present moment, attunement with our bodies, and compassionate connection to our authentic selves are the most powerful tools we have to change our lives for the better.
