"To be aware of your body is the beginning of self love. When mind goes home to the body, the mind and body are established in the here and now."

Hello! I'm Taylor, and I'm a licensed clinical social worker and masters certified addiction professional, and I currently work remotely serving Florida residents with online therapy sessions. I enjoy working with adults of all ages and identities to help them understand and process trauma and addiction, get in touch with their authentic selves, and transform a wide range of mental health concerns that I believe are all interconnected, including issues with depression, anxiety, grief, self-worth and anger. I provide a safe and honest space for you to process your inner and outer world, and work towards your personal goals.
I believe the recognition that we cannot understand the mind separate from the body, and we cannot understand a person separate from their environment, is a truth that reveals new pathways for understanding ourselves and deeper healing.
Therapy is not one-size-fits all, and I use a variety of holistic and evidence-based approaches tailored to your individual needs, with an emphasis on mindfulness-based cognitive therapy and somatic healing. For those who are curious and open to it, I may also incorporate so-called 'spiritual' ideas and practices into our work together. Most importantly, my approach to therapy is meant to guide you to access your own inner healer. I believe that focus on the present moment, compassionate attunement with our bodies, and connection to our authentic selves are the most powerful tools we have to change our lives for the better.
